About me

I’m a new blogger who is a little less tech savvy than I’d like but learning everyday.

I am a wife to Hubs, who I love and who loves me. After 20 yrs…we aren’t going anywhere.

I am a mother….to 3 boys.  Big is a young adult, Medium is a teen and Little is a ‘tween’.  They really do embody the best of us both.

I’m also a Nurse…a LVN. A new grad who is still unemployed (and rather upset about it to be honest).

We are a normal family with  real problems and real struggles as well as a lot of joy.

My kids keep me laughing…

and I in turn keep Hubs laughing…let’s just say that I am sometimes lacking the common sense gene.

I try to keep it keep it light, but real and show us as we are while still respecting my family’s privacy.

I have strong opinions and am pretty outspoken in my beliefs but I am tolerant and accepting of others and the way they choose to live their lives..from parenting to politics. I know how to agree to disagree and realize how lucky we are to live in a country where we are allowed, even encouraged to live as we choose.

We are Christians, Southern Baptist to be exact but we live by our own Biblical beliefs and don’t subscribe wholly to any exact sector of that religion. Sometimes we swear. Sometimes we argue. and we don’t attend church every week but we believe in God. We have faith and love for our fellow-man and don’t judge …but sometimes it’s hard.
